The South West of England has long had a vi-brant photonics community that has frequently had to travel to other regions to access industry relevant events. Following discussions with photonics organisations in the South west this event brings valuable photonic related content to your area and provides an opportunity to network with others engaged in photonics and related business in the South West.
Michael Lebby, President of the influential OIDA in Washington, USA will present the OIDA’s view of the future of photonics and the impact on key areas such as ’green tech’. This is a rare and valuable opportunity to gain insights into future growth areas in our industry.
In support of that future growth Mike Biddle (Lead Technologist, TSB) will present the mechanisms by which you can support innova-tion through the Technology Strategy Board’s investments such as Collaborative R&D Competitions.
