Cutting Edge : Lasers and Creativity Symposium

• Location: Loughborough University School of Art and Design
• Attendees: All welcome

The presentations will be grouped together with panel discussions chaired by Prof Terence Kavanagh, Dean of the faculty of Social Sciences at Loughborough. Speakers represent a number of leading universities with research groups in this field as well as well known product designers, artists, textile designers and architects.

The event has been supported by the Textile Institute.Proceedings will be published and the event will be recorded.

Networking
Between 75 and 100 delegates from universities across the UK and a few from abroad are expected to register. Practitioners from various fields are also attending.

During the breaks, over lunch and during the drinks reception at the end of the day, delegates will be able to view a number of rolling electronic posters showing further exciting work in this field. Work will also be on display. There will be a conference pack.

The Loughborough University School of Art and Design intend to form a network of those interested in Lasers and Creativity in Art and Design.
