17th Annual General Meeting of the Association

The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Laser Users (AILU) will be held on 15 March 2011 starting at 18.40 in the Lecture Theatre in The Centre, Birchwood Park, Warrington, WA3 6YN

The AGM will be preceeded by the presentation of the AILU Award and the Young Engineer's Prize.

All AILU members and symposium delegates are invited to attend this short meeting and learn about AILU activities over the last year. Download the Agenda here

An Election of Committee Members and Officers of AILU will take place during the AGM and members are encouraged to consider joining. Download the Notice of Election here

Drinks in the bar will follow the AGM, with the Symposium dinner in the Garden Restaurant starting at 8 pm.

AILU members attending the AGM but not attending ILAS are nevertheless welcome join ILAS delegates for the informal Symposium dinner; however, reservations must be made with the AILU office a minimum of 7 days in advance. The cost of the dinner is £30.

Travel

By road:

Birchwood Park is within a mile or so of the junction of the M62 and M6 motorways and therefore very easily accessible by road. See map showing the local road network and nearby railway stations. Click here for more details. There is plenty of free parking adjacent to The Centre and a low cost pay and display car park across the road.

By rail:

Birchwood station is on the Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly Line and is only 1 mile from The Centre.

By air:

Marchester and Liverpool are both served by international airports.
