Beam Delivery Solutions For Fiber Lasers Dominate Discussions At Fabtech 2009

Receiving some 25,000 visitors and featuring 1,083 exhibitors, Fabtech 2009 (November 15-18, 2009) played host to a reemerging global manufacturing industry - as evidenced by the serious buyers packing the exhibit halls of McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

Laser Mechanisms witnessed this improved business climate first hand as their booth was consistently filled with quality attendees discussing real projects. While some of the visitors to Laser Mechanisms' booth were looking to converse about traditional CO2 beam delivery, the majority of the traffic wanted to talk about Fiber Laser delivery - specifically Laser Mech's AccuFiber series and their all-new FiberCut laser processing head.

"Utilizing Fabtech to launch our new FiberCut head in North America was definitely the right move," said Laser Mechanisms' Sales Engineer Gary Cican. "In fact, interest in FiberCut was so strong, we had a hard time talking to everyone that stopped by the booth," added Cican.
