LVD open house scheduled for April 26 ? 29 focusing on price, performance, profit

LVD open house scheduled for April 26 – 29 focusing on price, performance, profit LVD Company n.v. will conduct an open house at their Gullegem, Belgium demonstration facility April 26 through April 29, 2010. The event theme, Price, Performance, Profit, is geared to showcasing sheet metalworking solutions that strike the perfect balance between price and performance, thus delivering the highest return on investment.

New mid-level solutions
LVD will display and demonstrate its latest innovations, including the Sirius 3015 Plus CO2 laser cutting machine with Compact Tower system. The newest addition to the LVD laser product line, Sirius is a dynamic flying optic system designed to provide efficient processing of parts, offering reliable, high-quality cutting performance at an affordable priceperformance ratio.

The Sirius 3015 Plus is engineered as automation-ready. An optional Compact Tower system creates a productive, flexible manufacturing cell that can be operated “lights out.” The tower system, working in concert with the material handling unit, provides full capabilities for loading and unloading, and includes a shelving unit for storing raw material and finished parts.

Also highlighted will be the PPEC 135/30 press brake with CADMAN® Lite control. This midlevel press brake provides precision bending at an affordable price. The new CADMAN Lite control, based on the same easy-to-use platform as LVD’s full-featured CADMAN® Touch control, offers some of the same key features as CADMAN Touch, including 2D graphic programming with automatic collision detection, direct angle or Quick Bend programming, and connection with LVD’s CADMAN-B offline programming software.

A range of automated equipment
Visitors will also see automated bending, punching and laser cutting products demonstrated, including:

RoboCell, automated robotic bending cell, is easy to operate and program and ideal for bending small to medium sized components.

Strippit LP-1225 laser/punch combination machine with Pick-Sort material handling system combines punching, forming, tapping and laser cutting in one flexible machine. The addition of the Pick-Sort robotic system transforms the standalone machine into a lights-out sheet metal processing cell for maximum punching and laser cutting efficiency.

Orion 3015 Plus laser cutting machine with autoload system provides an economical hybrid laser machine with an affordable and compact automatic loading and unloading unit.

Additional products to be showcased:
Strippit V20-1525 high performance CNC turret punch press;

Easy-Form® 135/30 press brake featuring LVD’s patented Easy-Form® adaptive forming system and CADMAN Touch CNC touch screen control;

CADMAN® offline programming software for the seamless integration of laser cutting, punching and bending for a total integrated solution from concept to finished part.

This four-day event is open to sheet metal fabricators that perform contract manufacturing operations as well as original equipment manufacturers. Guests will have the opportunity to discuss their application requirements and fabricating challenges one-on-one with LVD product managers and product specialists.
