Most successful Euroblech ever for Trumpf

“The Euroblech 2010 clearly surpassed all expectations. We believe that a stable upswing is forthcoming in the near future“, said Trumpf Managing Director Dr. Mathias Kammüller following the world’s leading trade fair for sheet metal processing in Hanover.

Trumpf, the biggest exhibitor of the Euroblech, sold nearly 200 machine tools and laser systems during the 5-day trade show between October 26 and 30, 2010. Two thirds of the orders were placed by customers from abroad. Thus the high-tech company did not only outperform the Euroblech 2008 marking the final culmination for the whole industry before the global economic crisis, but also the previous record level of the Euroblech 2006.

“The Euroblech 2010 confirms our clear upward trend for incoming orders, which has been evident since springtime. At the same time we felt the great confidence of our customers that the upswing will persist“, Dr. Kammüller said. The TRUMPF strategy to offer customers machines providing them with a competitive edge by innovations was once again underlined, Dr. Kammüller continued. Since the crisis, at the latest, customers have wanted machine tools and laser systems reducing costs per unit and simultaneously increasing the quality of parts according to Dr. Kammüller. “And our product range is exactly aiming at this“.

Trumpf registered ten percent more booth visitors than at the Euroblech 2008, although the organizer Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd. listed approximately six percent less vistors at the trade fair. Overall nearly 65,000 qualified vistors attended the trade fair. Nearly 40 percent of visitors at the TRUMPF booth came from abroad.

The company showed numerous new machine tools and laser systems at the Euroblech. Vistors, inter alia, could convince themselves about the benefits of skeleton-free punching and the world’s fastest bending cell. The new 2in1 fiber enabling users to weld and cut without changing the laser light cable very much interested the public.
