Following a highly successful year in 2011, which was marked by continued growth within both their UK and USA operations, Leicestershire based Winbro Group Technologies announces record order levels for Q1 in 2012.

Winbro Group Technologies is renowned as a leader in cooling hole technology for aero and land based turbine engines. The company’s manufacturing headquarters in Coalville, serves customers in over 16 countries around the world – supplying UK manufactured Laser, High Speed EDM and Combination (Laser & EDM) turnkey machining systems, as well as gas turbine engine components machined within the company’s Winbro Advanced Machining (WAM) facilities.

In the first quarter of 2012 the Company has secured orders for 15 new multi-axis drilling machines valued at over £7.0 million (US$11.0m).  This record breaking achievement includes orders from customers in Europe, USA and Asia.

In addition, the Winbro Advanced Machining (WAM) facilities in Coalville, UK and Rock Hill, South Carolina have both seen significant growth as turbine manufacturers use Winbro’s component production resource to keep pace with demand.
