Concept Laser Mlab cusing Machine to Feature at TCT Live 2012

Concept Laser’s Mlab cusing machine will feature on the ES Technology / Concept Laser booth at the forthcoming TCT Live exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham.

This compact system, just 710mm wide x 1,000mm deep and 1,850mm high, will allow visitors to the ES Technology stand to see first hand how easy it is to build metal parts directly from 3D CAD designs.

Parts can be built in just hours from stainless steel, cobalt chrome or precious metals such as yellow gold and silver and the system is designed to operate unattended overnight. Additional materials, currently under development for the system, include bronze and titanium. Mlab cusing also boasts a number of features that enhance flexibility, including an easy to use pull-out drawer system. This enables quick removal of the construction chamber, dosing chamber and the powder container for the purpose of storing unused material.

The Mlab cusing is aimed at markets that require smaller (less than 90mm x 90mm x 80mm) metal parts. For larger components, Concept Laser use the established M1, M2 and M3 systems which can build parts up to 300mm x 350mm.

Since its launch the Mlab cusing system has generated significant interest from a diverse range of industries including: Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Device, Tool & Mould manufacturers as well as the Dental and Jewellery sectors.

ES Technology and Concept Laser, together with the Mlab cusing machine, can be found on stand number P25 at the NEC in Birmingham from the 25th to 26th September.
