Rofin Launch New Versatile Desktop Laser Marker

Rofin’s new EasyMark offers exceptional levels of versatility. This compact laser marking system, with its modular design, can be used either as laser class 1 system or a class IV system, by removing side panels and integrating the unit within automated production lines.

The new EasyMark incorporates the latest diode-pumped or fiber laser technology and powerful yet intuitive software makes it the ideal all-in-one laser marking system for a wide variety of applications.

This latest version of Rofin’s highly successful desktop laser marker is innovative in its design. The supply control unit and the working chamber are separate modules, providing maximum flexibility for configuration and set up for each individual application.

The new EasyMark offers a solution, which integrates easily into a variety of manufacturing environments. The system is not only suitable for standard applications, with manual part placement and removal, but it is also capable of being integrated into semi or fully automated production lines.

Metals or polymers, flat or cylindrical parts, standard marking tasks or graphical content, mobile or static use: the new EasyMark does it all.

Prepared for Integration and Automation

By simply removing the laser class I enclosure, the EasyMark is transformed into an open laser class IV marking module with unlimited integration possibilities.

With the side panels removed, the unit is able to accommodate long and bulky work pieces. In this configuration it is also ideally suited for use with automated part feeding systems such as conveyors or indeed automatic loading and unloading by a robot system.

Working Chamber with Camera and Inspection Window
The rise and fall door provides easy access to the entire working chamber. When the door is closed and the system in operation, the process can be monitored through the large inspection window. The system is configured with a camera and pilot laser for exact part positioning within the standard 120mm or optional 180mm marking area.

The EasyMark comes as standard with a programmable z-axis and can be equipped with an optional rotary axis if required. Further options such as a Through-the-Lens (TTL) camera, automatic door, or foot switch help set up customer specific solutions.

Tried and Tested Fiber Lasers with State-of-the-Art Software

Depending on individual customer requirements, the EasyMark is powered by PowerLine F fiber lasers with 20, 30 or 50 W or alternatively with the diode end-pumped PowerLine E 10. All laser sources used within the new EasyMark are air-cooled and designed for continuous industrial operation. The system re-quires just a standard, single-phased power supply.

Using the powerful “Visual Laser-Marker (VLM)“ software, the design and transfer of marking layouts is simple. VLM offers a comprehensive range of marking functions, fonts, and pre-defined laser setups.

This latest version of the EasyMark is a smart, all-in-one laser marking system. The standard configuration comes with a Laptop (WINDOWS 7), VLM software, programmable z-axis, pilot laser and camera observation.
