Hutchinson Engineering named Manufacturing Company of the Year

Kilrea based firm, Hutchinson Engineering scooped the overall Manufacturing Company of the Year at Insider Media’s ‘Made in Northern Ireland’ Awards 2016, a celebration of the very best in manufacturing, design and product development.

The Made in Northern Awards give recognition and reward to manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland that have demonstrated success in innovation, product development and growth in either domestic or overseas markets. The awards presentation took place during Insider Media’s prestigious Northern Ireland Dealmakers Dinner.

At the awards presentation, Hutchinson Engineering was praised for modernising through advanced equipment acquisition and winning new partners in the engineering sector, demonstrated exceptionally by sister company Hutchinson AeroTech.

Insider's Special Publications Editor, Philip Cunliffe said: "Hutchinson Engineering has demonstrated that investing in leadership, the team and the business brings great success. It continues to modernise through advanced equipment and has reached out to win new partners in new engineering sections, most notably demonstrated by the creation of Hutchinson Aerotech.

Hutchinson Engineering will now go through to compete at Insider's Made in the UK Awards 2016.
