MBA bolsters offering with Automation and storage systems experts, Remmert

Yorkshire based firm MBA Engineering are excited to announce the partnership with Remmert GMBH to provide fully automated solutions for lasers in the UK market.

Set up originally to service and maintain Bystronic CO2 machines, MBA has seen many changes, both in the UK laser industry and within the company. The future of laser cutting lays with Fibre laser technology, and so expanding into the Fibres was a necessary move. Early 2016 saw MBA partner with Kimla to bring the Kimla fibre laser to the UK, not only is the Kimla one of the fastest on the market, but also one of the most reliable. As we all know, downtime costs money. MBA’s partnership with Remmert GMBH, to offer automation and storage systems in the UK market, bolsters their position in the market.

In 1945, Friedrich Remmert founded the company known today as Friedrich Remmert GmbH in Loehne, Germany. Since then a lot has happened, the family business has developed significantly with the market for long goods and sheet metal storage, and has grown to have over 100 employees.

Whether large-scale or batch size - Remmert develop individual and flexible automation solutions. The full automation of your storage machines mean more efficient manufacturing processes, reduced production costs and maximum investment security.

Remmert is key for MBA to offer a full 360 solution for laser users and to enable a smooth transition into the automation field.  We work with our clients from the early stages in their life cycle, starting with a CO2, moving through to the fibre lasers and ultimately a fully automated system. Remmert was a natural choice.

Our primary goal at MBA Engineering is to help our customers improve their production efficiency, whether rapid response to machine breakdowns or in the case or Remmert; fully automate their laser system or provide automated storage solutions. Remmert's quality product and impressive uptime figures meant it was a perfect partnership ‘Bradley McBain, Managing Director MBA Engineering’
