Minimising Production Times Maximises Interest at Manufacturing Show

A workstation that helps improve productivity attracted visitors to JK Lasers’ stand at this year’s Southern Manufacturing exhibition.

Manufacturers attending the UK show on 15 and 16 February discovered how the JK System 5000 can accelerate production times and avoid costly downtime by switching easily between welding, cutting and drilling processes.

Its modular design enables operators to easily change between the company’s range of lasers and process tools. It also features the option to fit a scanner for remote welding applications.
In addition to its processing advantages, the workstation is ergonomically designed with a Class I safety enclosure and viewing panel so it can be safely and easily installed into most industrial premises.

Andy Emmess, European Sales Manager for JK Lasers, said: “Southern Manufacturing was a highly successful show for us with visitors expressing considerable interest in the JK System 5000. Manufacturers are always looking at ways to improve productivity and our versatile workstation offers an effective way to achieve this.”

Over the course of the two-day show, JK Lasers demonstrated the JK System 5000 using a 300W fiber laser (JK300FL) to cut and weld 0.5mm stainless steel dice. To view the demonstration, visit http://www.youtube.com/jklasers.
